Litigation & Dispute Resolution
The Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department deal with all manner of contentious issues, ranging from debt recovery to major injunctions. We advise our clients on disputes relating to commercial contracts, buildings and property, sale of goods, banking and mortgage fraud and insolvency. We also deal with contentious probate, directors’ disqualification and bankruptcy.
Liability for costs is always an issue in litigation and we aim to provide our clients with as much practical as well as legal advice in order to ensure the minimum risk possible in respect of costs.
We encourage time effective methods of alternative dispute resolution (such as mediation, without prejudice negotiation), but if early settlement is not possible, we have a wealth of experience litigating in court.
