Farah undertakes a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
She advises in relation to executive severance packages, drafts service agreements and other contractual documentation, advises on redundancies, restructurings and enforcing post termination restrictive covenants. Farah has much experience in relation to defending discrimination and unfair dismissal claims and cases involving breaches of contract. She is also regularly involved advising and representing clients at Employment Tribunals.
Farah has broad commercial litigation experience and advises on contractual disputes of all types. She has experience in complex Judicial Review applications and litigation concerning breach of European legislation. She has brought actions for libel against well known tabloid newspapers and recruitment consultancies and has been involved in professional negligence and complex commercial fraud cases.
As a member of The Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, she was commissioned by the Lord Chancellor’s Department (now The Department of Justice) to advise and report on the impact of the Woolf Reform on civil litigation. In this role, she regularly chaired discussions throughout the country with Lawyers, Judges and Professors.
Career Details
Prior to joining Ross & Craig in 1998, Farah worked in the Corporate Know How Department of Baker and McKenzie.
